No entanto, "That is rubbish. It's worth it compared to what?" asks health care consultant Matthew Holt of Professional Services Solutions in San Francisco, Calif. "You could argue that if we spent the money in a different place we'd have a lot greater societal value".
Tudo isto, porque se discute, de acordo com os investigadores em causa, se valerá a pena investir na saúde dos mais jovens, ou se na saúde dos mais velhos.
Na saúde, as conclusões são sempre dúbias.
