Em experiência recente que tivemos numa urgência de um hospital do Serviço Nacional de Saúde (SNS), continuamos a verificar a falta de informática ou se quiserem, de gestão de informação, no atendimento aos doentes. Seria um elemento tão facilitador, o facto de haver registo dos doentes e de todas as operações inerentes ao seu percurso no hospital, quer para os doentes, quer para os outros participantes no processo: médicos, enfermeiros, técnicos e até para os serviços financeiros.Vimos aqui, algumas soluções, que já se utilizam em outros países.
